With Just Know, she doesn't have to decide in the moment whether something is important enough to bother you. If a call with an unknown number runs long, you just know.
How it works
Mom installs Just Know and texts you an invite herself. You join, then she approves you. Nothing's shared until she does.
Only numbers that aren't in her contacts count. Calls from people she knows never ping you.
Most unknown calls are over in a few minutes, so nothing happens. At 7 minutes, you get one calm alert. If it keeps going, a text, then a call.
"I know about this." "Call Mom." Or "Trust this number" so the pharmacy never pings you again.
Straight answers
On Android, Just Know can notice unknown calls automatically — using the same official "caller ID & spam" permission spam blockers use. Apple doesn't let any app see calls on an iPhone, so iPhone users get the "Did they contact you first?" button and a home-screen shortcut instead. The person getting alerts can use any phone.
Questions
No. Never. It doesn't record, listen, transcribe, or read anything. It only notices that a call with an unfamiliar number started, and how long it's been going.
The opposite. The person with the phone installs it, chooses who's in her circle, sees everything they see, and can remove anyone or pause it anytime. Nobody can add themselves.
No — and we'll never say it is. The doctor's office calls from unknown numbers too. Just Know tells you something's different. You decide what it means. Tap "Trust this number" and it won't ping you again.
Nothing buzzes until a call has gone 7 minutes. Then you get an alert. If it keeps going, Just Know texts you at 11 minutes and calls you around 15. After the call, it asks "Did you figure it out?" — timed to land before banks close.
Pricing isn't set yet. We'll share it well ahead of time, and nobody is ever charged without saying yes first.
