What Just Know is

Just Know is a brand of You Have It Maid (Fort Worth, Texas). An app an adult installs on their own phone to give a person they choose (a "Trusted Person") a small signal when an unusual call happens. The account owner chooses who, chooses what is shared, and can remove anyone at any time.

What we never collect

Call audio or recordings. Transcripts. The content of any text message. Your contacts list. Your location. Which apps you use. Browsing history. Bank or card information.

What we do collect

Your name and how your people refer to you (for example "Mom"). For unusual calls only: the direction of the call, when it started and ended, whether the number was international, a one-way scrambled code of the number (so a number you trust can be skipped next time — we can't turn it back into the number), and, only if you choose, the last 4 digits. If you turn it on (Android only), a single yes/no of whether the phone screen was on and unlocked during a long call — never which app. For Trusted People: the mobile number they give us, only if they choose to get texts or calls.

Who can see it

You, and the Trusted People you confirm. You see everything they see. Removing someone ends their access immediately.

How it's protected

Encrypted in transit and at rest; phone numbers are additionally encrypted field-by-field. Staff access is limited and logged. Event history is deleted after 90 days.

Service providers

Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in, database, notifications) and Twilio (texts and calls to Trusted People who opt in). We don't sell or share data for advertising. Mobile numbers and text opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Your choices

Pause Just Know, change what's shared, remove people, or delete your account at any time. Questions: hello@justknow.me.
